This Privacy Policy describes how Feedimal ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our website feedimal.com and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide

• Display name — the name you enter to identify yourself in the leaderboard and live ticker (optional, you may use a pseudonym).
• Custom messages — text you enter when feeding (Hodler tier), which is read aloud via text-to-speech and shown publicly on the live stream.
• Payment information — when you pay by card, your card details are processed directly by Stripe; we do not see or store your card number, only a payment confirmation. When you pay by Bitcoin Lightning, we receive the payment hash but no personal information.
• Email address — only if you sign up for our waitlist or notifications (optional).

1.2 Information collected automatically

• IP address — used to determine your country (so we can show your flag and route TTS to your language) and for fraud prevention. We do not store full IPs long-term.
• Browser language — used to choose your default UI language.
• Device information — browser type, operating system, screen size, used to render the site correctly.
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, payments made (anonymized aggregate analytics only).

1.3 Cookies and similar technologies

We use a small number of cookies and localStorage entries:

• Necessary — language preference, country code (for flag), session state. These cannot be disabled because the Service won't function without them.
• Analytics (only with your consent) — anonymous aggregate usage statistics via privacy-friendly analytics (Cloudflare Web Analytics or similar).

We do not use third-party advertising cookies or cross-site trackers.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide the Service — process your payment, trigger the feeder, render your message via TTS, display your name and country on the live stream, leaderboard, and ticker.
• Improve the Service — anonymous analytics to understand which features people use.
• Communicate with you — only if you opted in to email notifications.
• Prevent fraud and abuse — detect bot activity, double-spend attempts, and unusual payment patterns.
• Legal compliance — comply with tax, accounting, and law-enforcement requests where legally required.

3. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only with:

• Stripe (payment processor) — when you pay by card. Stripe Privacy Policy
• LNbits / Lightning Network — when you pay with Bitcoin Lightning, the payment is broadcast on the Lightning Network. Lightning is pseudonymous by design — we don't share your name with the Lightning network unless you provide it.
• ElevenLabs (text-to-speech provider) — your custom Hodler message is sent to ElevenLabs to generate audio. ElevenLabs Privacy
• YouTube — the live video stream is hosted on YouTube. YouTube applies its own Privacy Policy to viewers.
• Cloudflare — used as CDN and DDoS protection. Cloudflare Privacy
• Hosting infrastructure — our backend runs on a server in the Czech Republic.

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

4. Data Retention

• Payment records — kept for 10 years (Czech and EU tax law).
• Display name + custom message — kept indefinitely on the leaderboard unless you request deletion.
• Email address — kept until you unsubscribe.
• IP addresses — kept for 30 days for fraud prevention, then anonymized.
• Analytics data — aggregate, anonymous, kept indefinitely.

5. Your Rights (GDPR + similar laws)

If you are in the European Union, United Kingdom, California, or another jurisdiction with similar privacy laws, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Rectification — correct inaccurate personal data.
• Erasure ("right to be forgotten") — request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations.
• Restriction — limit how we process your data.
• Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format.
• Object — object to processing for marketing or legitimate-interest purposes.
• Withdraw consent — for cookie consent and email subscriptions, at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Czech Republic: ÚOOÚ).

6. Children

Feedimal is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. International Data Transfers

Some of our service providers (Stripe, Cloudflare, ElevenLabs) are based outside the European Union. Where this transfer occurs, it is governed by Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards as required by GDPR.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the website. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
